Service Operator
  • JPXL Records is a brand of JPXL Music Entertainment.
  • Operated by: Individual Entrepreneur Pen'kov Andrey Sergeyevich, tax ID 660308780887, registration 324665800000913 (10 January 2024).
  • Sverdlovsk Region, Russia. Business: Sound recording and music publishing (OKVED 59.20).
  • Official contact: JPXLRECORDS@GMAIL.COM.

1. Accruals

  • Accruals are calculated on the basis of aggregator and digital platform reports for the reporting period, after data has been received and verified.
  • The typical lag for aggregator reporting data is 45–90 days after the end of the reporting month. This delay is normal and does not constitute a breach by JPXL Records.
  • Accrued amounts may be adjusted when revised data is received, in the event of chargebacks, holds arising from complaints, or tax and banking corrections.

2. Royalty model

  • The specific royalty rate and split terms are agreed individually in the contract between the User and JPXL Records.
  • Where co-authors, producers or other rights holders are involved, distribution is made in accordance with the split sheet provided.
  • JPXL Records is not responsible for disputes over royalty distribution between co-authors; such disputes are resolved between the relevant parties.

3. Available balance

  • The available balance is calculated on the basis of: confirmed reporting data for closed periods; applicable rates and deductions; the minimum payout threshold; and the status and accuracy of payment details.
  • If the accumulated amount has not reached the minimum payout threshold, accruals carry over to the next settlement period.
  • The available balance shown in the dashboard is indicative until a payout is confirmed.

4. Payment details

  • Users must provide accurate payment details in advance: account or card number, bank, and the full name of the recipient or the name of the organisation.
  • An error in payment details may cause a delay or rejection of a payout; the Operator is not liable for losses arising from incorrect details.
  • Users are responsible for paying any taxes and levies on amounts received in accordance with the laws of their country of tax residence.

5. Payout timelines

  • A payout request is submitted through the Service once the minimum threshold has been reached.
  • Processing time is generally up to 10 business days from confirmation of the request, unless otherwise agreed.
  • The Service displays: request status, amount, request date, execution date, comments, and transaction history.

6. Zero periods

  • If there are no rows in a report for a User for a given period, the Service may display a zero period so that the User can see that data for that period has been processed.
  • The absence of accruals may be due to: a platform's monetisation threshold, aggregator delay, insufficient stream counts, or technical issues on the platform's side.
  • Users may request an explanation for zero accruals.

7. Disputes

  • Disputes relating to accruals must be submitted to JPXLRECORDS@GMAIL.COM no later than 60 days after the relevant reporting period is published in the Service.
  • The Operator will review the dispute within 20 business days and provide a reasoned response.
  • Amounts for which no dispute has been raised within the specified period are deemed accepted.

8. Collective rights management

  • Payments made by JPXL Records relate exclusively to master recording rights income and do not include author royalties for musical works.
  • Author royalties for public performance, reproduction and other uses of works are paid by digital platforms directly to collective rights management organisations. JPXL Records does not receive, withhold or distribute these amounts.
  • If JPXL Records acts as publisher of a User's works under a separate publishing agreement, the collection and distribution of publishing royalties are governed by that agreement.
